Associate Attorney

MacKenzie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and her Juris Doctor Degree from Suffolk University Law School. During her time at Suffolk, she was a member of the Health Law Clinic where she represented Petitioners in various Guardianship and Conservatorship matters. To gain experience in litigation and critical thinking, MacKenzie participated in trial advocacy competitions, in her final year at Suffolk she competed at the national level after winning the regional championship.

Prior to becoming an Associate at The Halks Firm, MacKenzie gained experience in the Probate and Family Court system representing persons with disabilities in various proceedings. In her spare time, MacKenzie enjoys trying new restaurants in the North end and taking pictures of her pug, Otis.
